Community Food Pantries


Food pantries offer free groceries to neighbors in need. Click the links below to see a list of area food pantries, their location, and hours, or use the map below.

*Note: As of May 2025, some food pantries are needing to close early due to a shortage of food. It is best to call ahead and confirm hours.

Mobile Food Pantry

Once per month, a mobile food pantry visits rural communities in our area to deliver food boxes.

Hot meals are provided throughout the week at the following locations.

Love in Action


Lunch served Monday through Thursday between 11am-1pm at 818 University Ave.

Senior Center

​
​Available to seniors (60+ years) and their spouse of any age. Includes sit-down breakfast and lunch, drive-thru lunch, and frozen meals.

SNAP Benefits


The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides eligible households with money to supplement their monthly grocery bill.

WIC Program


The Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Program provides eligible pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to age five with access to healthy foods, breastfeeding support, and nutrition education.

Community Farmer's Market

On Thursdays from 3-5pm in mid-July to mid-August, the 4th Street Farmer's Market is held
​outside the County Office Building (151 S. 4th Street, East sidewalk).

Additionally, the Town Square Farmer's Market is located in downtown Grand Forks every Saturday beginning mid-June through September. Visit the market from 9am to 1pm to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
