Food pantries offer free groceries to neighbors in need. View the Greater Grand Cities Food Pantries map at the bottom of this page to see locations.

Northlands Mobile Pantry

Details
Northlands Rescue Mission delivers food boxes to communities that do not have a local food pantry. Mobile pantries occur once per month.

The Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Program provides eligible pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to age five with access to healthy foods, breastfeeding support, and nutrition education.

At farmer's markets, you can find locally-grown produce to keep your family fed well.

On Thursdays from 3-5pm in mid-July to mid-August, the 4th Street Farmer's Market is held ​outside the County Office Building in downtown Grand Forks (151 S. 4th Street, East sidewalk).

The Town Square Farmers Market is located in downtown Grand Forks every Saturday beginning mid-June through the end of September. Visit the market from 9am to 1pm to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

The 2026 Forks Mobile Market Trolley schedule is coming soon.

Do you receive SNAP benefits?
When you visit the Town Square Farmers Market HQ (look for the trolley on 3rd St.), speak with a market volunteer and they'll help you DOUBLE your Saturday budget for local produce. Thanks to the market double up dollars program!
