Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer with the Eat Well program

Cooking Demonstration Leaders Needed
Picture
Our plant-based cooking demonstrations create an engaging, educational experience where community members learn to prepare fresh, healthy, delicious, and affordable meals together.

These wellbeing programs promote inclusion, social connection, and practical food skills to participants, who take this knowledge home to their own kitchens and households. By participating, you’ll help yourself and others build healthy habits, improve wellbeing, and boost overall happiness. All while earning volunteer hours and making a positive impact in your community.

Training in our Eat Well program will be provided. Depending on grant funding, some cooking demonstration teaching opportunities may include a modest stipend.
Reach out to to chef shilo at [email protected] TODAY if you are interested in food skills volunteering.

Passionate about preventing burnout and supporting our local business partners? Get in touch about volunteer opportunities with our worksite wellbeing consultation services!

Workshop Presenters, Worksite Design Auditors, and Other Volunteers Needed
People spend more than 40% of their day at work. Employers who prioritize worksite wellbeing have increased employee engagement, resulting in better productivity, reduced absenteeism, and reduced turnover. And there are plenty of ways to get involved supporting this work! Volunteers with Live Well can assist workers and improve worksite wellbeing by:
  • Interviewing staff and assisting with walk-throughs of our partner worksites. Using checklists and worksheets as a guide, volunteers  help us to assess the physical space where workers do their work. We know that the physical space where our teams do their work has major impact on overall organizational efficiency and staff quality-of-life. We'll train you in this interesting and important field. Individuals of all mobility levels are welcome to join our site assessment volunteer teams.
  • Leading workshops and presentations that cover topics critical to worksite wellbeing. These gatherings are intended to be restful, fun, and highly-impactful with delivered to teams or across departments. If you like working a crowd, we can train you in topics we have developed, or if you have experience in HR, mental health, or company culture support, we're happy to work with you to develop and test new topics that we can offer our community together.
Depending on grant funding, we may be able to offer limited stipends for some presenters. Reach out at [email protected] TODAY if you are interested in joining our worksite team as a volunteer.
